installer -- installs CJEDictionary in
C:\Program Files\cjecitionary\ and places a shortcut in the start menu. Getting StartedThis software runs under the .NET framework, which currently runs on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Follow the link for more information on finding out whether you have the runtime and how to get it if you don't. You also need to have Asian fonts installed in order to veiw the dictionary output, specifically the SimSun font. If you do not have asian fonts installed, you may be able to install them under "Regional and Language Options" in Windows' control panel. Chinese or Japanese IME's (Input Method Editors) are not necessary, but may be useful to input Asian text directly. IME's can also be enabled from the "Regional and Language Options" dialog. AcknowledgementsThis package uses the EDICT Japanese database, which is the property of the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group at Monash University, and is used in conformance with the Group's licence. This package uses the CEDICT traditional and simplified Chinese databases which are the property of the Paul Denisowski, and are used in conformance with their licences. This package uses the Unihan Asian character database which is provided by the Unicode Consortium.
